This page explains the use of cookies and trackers on specialmarine.fr and how to manage them. The French version prevails.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to the operation of the website and cannot be switched off. They are used to:

maintain your session and your authentication once signed in;
keep the contents of your basket from one page to the next;
remember the language you have chosen (French or English);
remember that you have dismissed the "site under construction" banner;
provide security: fraud and abuse prevention, protection of forms against robots.

Under the applicable regulations these cookies do not require prior consent, as they are strictly necessary to provide the service.

3. Third-party cookies required by the service

Cloudflare Turnstile — to protect public forms (registration, contact), an anti-robot service is called and may set technical cookies required for that verification.
PayPal — at payment time, the payment module sets third-party cookies required to secure the transaction and prevent fraud. They are only set on the payment page.

4. Audience-measurement cookies (optional)

No audience-measurement or advertising tracker is currently set on the website. Should we enable one, a compliant consent banner would let you accept or refuse those cookies, and change your mind at any time.

5. Managing cookies

You can configure your browser at any time to accept, refuse or delete cookies, from its settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and so on). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will however degrade the website: staying signed in or keeping a basket becomes impossible.
